Although I was not sure how this would pan out, I decided to book a flight to Washington from cochin with a layover in Dubai.

The layover was supposed to be 14 hrs.

This was a great idea since I got to meet my friends once more.

The whole transit Visa process was nice and easy. I was put up at the copthorne airport hotel which was just 5 minutes from the airport.

Copthorne hotel was an old hotel which felt like it was recently renovated. It was clean and had a rustic feel.I was taken to the hotel by the shuttle service which us available every 15 minutes.

If you would like to visit Dubai for a short period of time, it’s highly recommended.

The bad thing was that I did not get any sleep throughout the day. So I’m literally dozing off as I type this in
